By accessing or using Pay It Forward (the “Service”), available at payitfwd.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Pay It Forward is a platform that helps people acknowledge kindness they receive, receive AI-powered suggestions for ways to pass it on, and visualize how their gratitude ripples outward. Features may change, evolve, or be removed at our discretion.

You may create an account using email and password or a supported third-party provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@payitfwd.app of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, harassing, or deceptive content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or use automated means to collect data without permission.

All content, features, functionality, and technology on this platform — including but not limited to the chain visualization engine, AI agent architecture (Gratitude Scout, Chain Orchestrator, Impact Narrator), Impact Score algorithm, chain music generation, and voice concierge — are owned by Pay It Forward and protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. “Pay It Forward,” “PIF,” and the chain logo are trademarks of Pay It Forward. Patent pending.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on any part of this platform without prior written permission from Pay It Forward.

User-generated content (acknowledgments, descriptions, comments) remains owned by the user who created it. By posting content, you grant Pay It Forward a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content within the platform and for promotional purposes.

Pay It Forward respects the intellectual property of others. To report material that you believe infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to legal@payitfwd.app. A valid notice must include: (i) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (iii) the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material; (iv) your contact information; (v) a statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized; and (vi) a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pay It Forward and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
